Description:
Sorry guys, there was a mix up between Promoter:Agent:Artist, and the charming and deservedly BBC Folk award nominated best "horizon" act Nancy Wallace will NOT be performing this night - she is off to headline another show. HOWEVER - I do believe there will be plenty of other opportunities to enjoy Nancy's beautiful music and songs - so watch this space!
Now, on with the info for Thursday show:
The Second Instalment of Two For Joy Thursday Nights at Passing Clouds - and we here present two bands showcasing what is perhaps our favourite fusion of musical styles: Funk-Folk!
Headlining are Mabon, hailing from Wales, who've been zooming all over the festivals and the world spreading their joyous high octane music – we find it irresistibly foot tappingly-good. Join us for the London leg of their tour.
In support are Smith, Byrnes and O'Sullivan, a powerhouse band or London Based musicians and members of The Long Notes, delivering raucous funky contemporary Celtic music, infused with wah wah and a funky back beat.
Running Order of the night:
Doors: 7:30
Nancy Wallace: 8:15
Smith, Byrnes, O'Sullivan: 9pm
Mabon: 10pm
