Belshazzar's Feast + John Dowling Master Banjo

John Dowling is one of Britain's top Banjo players. He's the only European to have won first prize awards in the USA. He here performs as a duo, joined by Rex Preston on the Mandolin. John will be performing and showcasing material from his forthcoming album, recorded in a Cornish Tin Mine! It's all progressive stuff, and far from simply scruggs pickin' (I think the term is New Grass?!). You'll probably recognise John from his appearance on TV teaching a certain celebrity how to play the banjo!

Belshazzar's Feast are a lively duo exploring traditional English Music AND Dance, albeit in an unorthodox manner which often ruffled feathers!!
