Michael Rossiter
Hailing from Leeds, Michael is a singer and guitarist, playing "arcane songs and other relics". Beautiful guitar work, and contemporary renditions of traditional songs and other self-penned delights.... Michael grew up in west Wales and lived in Germany. He listened to his self-taught father play Blind Blake and Davey Graham and thought he'd try his own hand at folk guitar a few years back following a failed career on the trombone. He has played with a few folk stalwarts such as the Carthy's and Sara Grey and also other new kids like Charlie Parr and Geoff Berner. He also likes playing the mandolin and banjo which he does very well in the Folk Theatre Partisans. He hopes to release an album in 2008 with the help of James Green/Big Eyes Family Players of Early Winter Recordings
